Exactly, colored spotlighting is very popular in Asia...not sure why is hasn't caught on in the US yet. The spotlights are very decieiving, yet ingenious. If you look at the rear pic of his tank you can see just how drab and washed out it looks without the spotlights. The colored bulbs are matched to the color of each coral, greatly enhancing the corals coloration.
It's just like the new anchors on TV who have bright spotlights pointed at their face to give them a healthy, tanned skin tone.
