Uncoupling problem

Hello, I have an MP10 ive recently upgraded to QD and since have been having some issues.

1. My driver fails to consistently go into night mode automatically. I have called and they sent a new unit but it still does the same thing. It is plugged into my reefkeeper controller (as was my previous MP10 ES and didn't have this problem). And there is no power loss during the day.

2. My dry side frequently uncouples from the wet side. I have soaked the entire wetside in vinegar for hours, taken it apart and repated, scrubbed with a toothbrush and still the same problem. I even bought a new wetside base in case there was something wrong with the ceramic spindle I couldn't see. But still the same issue.

Is it possible my dry side is the root of both problems?

It's unusual that you would have prolonged issues with your pump especially after receiving a replacement controller. With that in mind, I would recommend having your pump sent in for additional testing and repair.
