Under the Weather cabbage Leather

Happy mother's day coral colonies of the world!

Anyways, this past week or so, my cabbage leather has adorned an interesting speckling to it. It's polyps have not been out and seems to have a sheen to it. Aside from the speckling, I think, the other two symptoms are not new to me (it's usually growing, I think). But for the life of me I can't remember if I've ever caught it speckled like this. Before I say certain words that might take me down a course of prognosis I won't turn back from, I'll just post a picture and see what people think for themselves. F.Y.I. This cabbage leather has been in my tank since start up [years] and I have never bothered with it (we've just been so happy together). It's been in the same spot and I've changed nothing about my setup lately, or ever. I can give some more details and such, entering conversation. I would like to hear someone else's initial thoughts first.

without further ado,

Thanks for your input. That's kind of what I was hoping. It was throwing me off how speckled it was. It seems excessive looking [to me] compared to anytime it might have been like this before. I'm happy to conclude that because, there's a small little self 'fragged' piece [unseen in the picture] that lies in the middle of the three pieces. That bit of the coral is open and unaffected like the rest.
