Underwater camera for Honeymoon

So I am going on my honeymoon in September to Tahiti and Bora Bora. I dont scuba but will be doing extensive snorkeling and want to take quality pictures. I want to buy an underwater camera for the trip. I want to keep the price under or $300 as I will most likely not use the camera again for the next few years, other than in my tank. :D I was hoping you could point me in the right direction. My intitial research has pointed me to the SeaLife Reefmaster Mini Dive Underwater Camera. TFTH

I know a couple people who have this camerahttp://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/539559-REG/Olympus_226340_Stylus_1030SW_Digital_Camera.htmland they take really nice pics underwater

The 1030sw is actually waterproof for up to 33' not 10':

SHOCKPROOF (6.6FT).
Accidents happen. A rugged metal body and revolutionary shock-absorbing construction are designed to withstand a 6.6-foot fall, drop or other mishap.

WATERPROOF (33FT).
Innovative waterproof seals and gaskets allow you to take underwater movies and amazing pictures in a pool, lake or ocean.

FREEZEPROOF (14°F).
Perfect for skiing, snowboarding, sledding and other winter fun, this camera is winterized to perform at below-freezing temperatures.

You are right: the 1030SW goes to 33'. I was talking about the 1050SW (which is limited to 10'). The 1030SW is nearly $400 while the 1050SW is only $240. Besides, who gets down to 30' when you are snorkeling :)

I know I used to snorkel at around 25 ft or more quite routinely when I was into that and diving.

Great suggestion thanks and the Olympus will work great as we enjoy skiing also and I am not always on my skiis. I am also going to inquire to a local dive shop about rentals and rates. I am thinking this would provide the best pictures, however if the incremental cost to purchase a camera is not that great I would probably go that route.

You are right. The price I got was for a 'kit', not the camera alone.

Wow I am sold on this camera. I am going to hold out for a few months and hopefully I can catch a good sale. If not I will pic it up full price which is still a great deal. TFTH and please let me know if you happen to see a sale.

I will surely post pics once I get the camera.
