Undulate & The King

Would an undulate & king angel be alright in a 240g tank? from what i've seen on here kings seem to be the most aggressive angel so i'm just wondering if it would be able to hang with an undulate.

I have a feeling it wouldn't be a happy tank, but I've never tried that combination. What else would be in the tank?

I wasn't planning on adding anything else as i really like undulates, and don't want a bloodbath on my hands.

if you were to do it, it might be a good idea to add some damsels as dithers to spread the aggression.

Agreed, Donimo damsels and etc. Undulates are mean and very unpredictable. King of the tank. They just dont want a corner of it.

Latz, if you just want an undulate, get a 75 for that fish. Then set up your 240 with a nice mix of compatible fish.

I think it has potential to work in a tank that large....i would make sure the King is bigger than the Undy, which wouldn't be hard to do as small Undy's are often available. My King is still the smallest fish in my tank, but he isn't afraid of anybody.....I think it would be a potentially sweet combo.

I don't really have room for another tank, so i think i'll have to forget the idea for now.

If you can't set-up a tank for it, that might be the best way to go. There's been a few threads asking about keeping Undy's with other fish the last couple of weeks. Fear some fish will eventually get hurt or killed and the Undy's will end up being discarded.
