Today at 2 in the afternoon i placed a order for several items totaling 425+ included in this i was to recieve 3 24 inch URI's....about a hour and a half later i noticed my invoice only included 1 and the shipping charge of 10 bucks (makeing the bulb $27).I wrote a email saying please add 2 more bulbs to my order (so i would not have to spend 20 bucks to have 3 bulbs shipped to me)Well i was informed that it was 2 late and my order was packed and id have to pay another $10 to have 2 more bulbs sent to me (makeing 3 bulbs cost me nearly $70.00).I understand that i should have seen on my order that the bulb count had reset to one but it would have been nice if i was atleast provided with a tracking number when i was told my order had already shipped within 10 mins of placeing my order(as was claimed in a email from marine depot).....any how i believe i will be spending my remaining thousands at another online retailer.Thank you for youre time.

Thanks for your feedback and we apologize for the trouble you had with your order. All of the orders we received are processed by our computer system automatically and sent to our shipping department almost immediately. Once the order is sent to the shipping department, there is no way for us to edit/change the order. Our shipping department is also quite fast in filling and packaging the orders. The processing is set this way so that we are able to ship as many customers' orders as promptly and as quickly as possible. In these cases where customers wish to change their order after the order is confirmed, it becomes more difficult and is not always possible. We have noted this on the check-out page of the online order form and definite do what we can when possible.

The reason for the two shipping charges is that we actually have to ship out two separate packages for you. Due to the packaging required for VHO bulbs and their size, each package actually cost us more than $10 to ship.

We apologize for the trouble you had with your order. If you can email me (customercare@marinedepot.com) or send us a PM with your account information, we will be happy to issue a $10 store credit for you.

Thank you very much....I understand...and i am sure it was my fault as i more than likely hit the back button at some time befor i checked out.im not all that worried about 10 bucks(other than it drives upthe overallprice of the bulbs)....it was more a fact that when i was told that it was not possible(as my order had shipped)..but did not recieve any tracking info till 24 hours later.Let me say i have always been happy with shopping you in the past.The 10 dollar credit is not something i need as i have not yet affirmed a second order....as i tend on waitting till i feel like shopping and always go for a larger order so i get the free ground shipping...but my order number is 100110601. Thank you very much for youre time.

I am glad that we were able to help with your orders in the past and are able to clarify the issue. The $10 store credit is in your account and will be there for one year, so there is no rush in using up that credit.

Hello today i made placed another 400 plus order but did not have $10 credit on my account so i did not order the bulbs i need...my cust id is 55040662....Thanks

Thank you for your order with us. To apply the $10 credit to your order, please put a note in the customer notes section during the checkout asking to apply your store credit of $10 as per Joseph to your order and our staff will apply the credit for you. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a way to "show" your credit to you at the time of check out, so it needs to be manually applied. We are working on changing this, but it has not happened yet.
