Uni-seals on Calcium Reactor?

I'm making a calcium reactor that will be either 18" or 24" tall and 6" x 1/4" cast acrylic tubing. My question is will a uni-seal be good enough for hooking the pump to the tube or will it leak? They say the uni-seals are good for up to 40 PSI so I would think it would work. Has anyone made a calcium reactor using uni-seals.

I'm building the same exact CR, I just ordered the Uniseals.......4 of each size, 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
I feel confident using them just from talking to others that have.

this is my first time using them also.

The GEO I had used them, nary a problem. The DIY one I have uses one, again nary a problem. The ASM skimmer I had used them, nary a problem (it leaked other places :lol: ).

I'd say they're okay.
