Hi all,
I've searched in quite a few places and can't seem to find anything close to this. it first appeared a one small short tube that was off-white in color and translucent. Before transferring to my DT I did a coral dip and physically removed the tube during the dip. Now over a span of time it seems to have multiplied. If I go by the golden rule of "nothing good in a reef tank happens fast" then I believe I need to pull it and QT. It went from one tube to several dozen in about two weeks. The best that I can guess by its behavior is some sort of sponge. The tubes don't seem to retract but when the polyps to my coral open up, you can't really see the tubes anymore.
Any ideas? Should I remove the coral?
