Hi guys, I was observing my tank last night, 60 cube mixed reef, and I found something really odd near my red cap monti. It looked like a bug, literally the type you see when doing yard work and lifting a stump or a rock. It was probably the size if an eraser at the end of a pencil, brown in color, and looked to have either antennas or some sort of feelers on it. (Two of the feelers). It was crawling around the overflow, near where my monti is glued. My first instinct was a nudibranch, but I really don't know, it to me looked like a beetle or termite.
Secondly, I noticed what appears to be white specs covered on my overflow box, the part you see in tank. Almost looks like white paint splatter, and when I tried scraping them off with razor, they didn't come off. They are too big to be grains of sand, and the only other thing I thought of was I use phosgaurd in a reactor, thinking maybe pieces of that grinded there way out.
Any suggestions or ideas appreciated
