unique clown pairing

has anyone tried pairing a picasso clownfish with a snowflake clownfish? i know its a percula with an ocellaris but will it work??

Percs and occys have certainly been paired up in the past. I'm actually attempting to pair a Onyx and Domino at the moment. So far so good, but it's still early days.

pairing is one thing. but i fear what health/genetic issues would come from their offspring. i wouldn't open that box

haha i was thinking they'd make some crazy looking babies. but i guess i'll stick to some picasso perculas

Just curious, why do you think there would be issues with the offspring? And what certain issues do you think would occur?

there are about a dozen breeders online that sell different variations of false/true babies. im sure there are tons more but theyve been around for at least a few yrs and nobody has complained about mutants.
