Uniseal leaking

I just install a CA reactor and the recirculation pump is attached to the body using a uniseal, but there is a small leak at the uniseal. Is there a trick or anything I should know? this is my first experience with a uniseal.

Maybe replace it. Was it a new CA reactor or used?

That sounds like good advice. They are cheap enough. I have replaced the 1/2" uniseal on mine twice. Just small leaks, but annoying.

In a pinch I have siliconed them in place until I can get new ones.

my uniseal on my co2 reactor started leaking after several years of use. when I took it out to replace it, it was obvious that the seal was just old and worn out

Thanks. I ordered a new one for future replacement, for now silicone grease fixed the issue.

i orderd a new one didnt want to wait so i siliconed my old one and that was 2 yrs ago

wrap teflon tape around the uniseal where it comes in contact with the reactor's body
