Unknown Growth on Dendronephyta

Realised there is a few growth on the base of my Dendronephyta...
Both Dendro are closed, I am not really sure if the growth is the cause...
Anyone know what is that growth?

Has the base of either of the dendros recently been damaged or torn away from the base where it meets the rock? Growth like pictured above is commonly seen when this occurs or when dendros are fragged. It can also happen when they are located in a new area with strong current and the coral is strengthening its base.

The Purple one was detached from the rock that bought it from and i attached it to a new and bigger rock so I guess this one is doing well?

The Yellow one is attached to the rock where I got it from...
Maybe the flow is a bit strong for it so it is strengthening its base..

Those are called RLP's (Root Like Processes) and they contain desmocytes which allow the coral to attach to hard surfaces.
