Hi,
My water seems to be infested with very small clear/white organisms swimming around.
The look like small flea type creatures. I've added a small amount of copper for the last three days to help a fish that has stopped eating fight any parasites in the water but this does not seem to have killed these creatures off.
Does anyone have an idea what they could be?
If they were a parasite, would I be able to see them swimming in the water and on the glass?
The tank it a 140gallon FO tank. It has been running for over a year and has a NO3 level of about 50ppm.
There is not live rock in the system, every fish has been in the tanks for at least three months.
No live food is ever added. Just dired bloodworn and flake + frozen food such a mysis and whole frozen shrimp, muscle and cockle.
