Unkown object in coral!!!

Hello! Today night I noticed that there is a white streak on the exposed skeleton of my candy cane coral. By the way, the exposed skeleton is normal for this type of coral. Anyway, when I looked closely, something seemed to be coming out of it. I think it is how the coral splits, but I have never seen this type of coral split as I bought the frag about a month ago and have never owned a candy cane coral before. Can someone please help me identify if this is a parasite or the like? Should I be worried? Parameters are all good. Sorry for the blurry pictures, the zooming in made it worse ;(

I'm not sure what you're referring to on the coral, but it's definitely not normal for the flesh to be that receded imo...

I'm referring to that white streak in its skeleton, and that thing coming out of the top of the white streak. And for candy cane corals, it's normal if the flesh is that receded; you will find many to have calcified exposed skeletons.

You can keep repeating it, still won't make it normal. Gonna need a clearer picture to get a better idea of that other thing though.

I've been around people in the hobby for decades, and this is very normal for a candy cane coral. I can't get a clearer picture unfortunately, this is the best I can do.
