Update on frozen food bulk order

neuroslicer

Old School Reefer
We're going to get a price quote from Kermit's Reef on frozen food. Dave has access to the following brands, which should be diverse enough for all our needs. Note that he does not carry the Hikari brand that some of you requested from Bio-Aquatics.com, but there should be other substitutions that will do.

Here are the brands you can order from Kermit's Reef:

San Fran Bay
Ocean Nutrition
Argent (Cyclop-eez)
H2O life
Liquid Life
Reed Mariculture
DT's
Rod's Fish Food
Piscine Energetics

If you want more info on the products, all these brands except for Reed Mariculture and Rod's Fish Food are described on www.bio-aquatics.com.

So with this new info in mind, please send me a PM now with your revised order. I will compile the list and get a quote from Dave. May I recommend you order at least a 6 month supply if you can swing it... you'll see significant savings and we won't have to do this again for some time.

Thanks all!
Jay

If the LFS's give prices on this too, will we have to pay on one vist and pick up the next or can we do it all in one trip?

Well @#$^%

I guess count me out then.

Update: so far there haven't been many people give me a list of frozen food items to make a bulk order worthwhile. I would like at least 50 - 75 pieces before I submit the list to Dave for a price quote. So go ahead and submit a list of what you want, I will compile this list, and then submit it to Dave and then get back to you.

Submiting an order list to me does not lock you into a purchase... that won't be until I get back to you with a price quote and then get your OK.

If you use frozen food daily, like I do, you can get considerable savings here and not have to go to the store routinely to buy more!

jay,
here is my updated list-----------

Jay, I'll give you a 6-month order. (It's in my nature to buy long.)

Just let me scratch my head and pull it together.

Sat Noon deadline for order!

Sat Noon deadline for order!

There are a few people who have said they were interested in buying frozen food at bulk prices (very good savings!) but I haven't heard from them. So I'll give you until Saturday noon to send me your order before I compile the final listing and ask Kermit's Reef for a bid.

Thanks to all who have replied thus far!
Jay

Whoever said Deadlines don't move things forward???

Ordering............
(do you feel like a short-order Cook?) Oh, that's Dave... nevermind.

PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a spreadsheet, if you'd rather.

Tell me again... How are we paying for this??

Thanks for doing this Jay!

BUMP.

Jay, any update on this? I'm Not pressing, I just need to make a Food run soon and don't know what kind of lead-time we were looking at originally.

Thanks for doing this man!

Chow! (err....rather......Ciao!) :D

I've just sent Dave's pricing to all of you who submitted an order request to me. His prices even beat those from bio-aquatics.com, and include both SHIPPING and TAX! THANKS DAVE! Check your PM box for the amount, or if your box is full, I sent it to your email address.

Dave will require pre-payment... I'll let you know shortly how this will work. For now, just confirm that you are willing to pay for the order.

I have emailed or PMed each of you with details of your order including your final total, but here's a summary of the details:

I have collected all the orders and sent it on to Kermit's Reef. Dave wants one lump sum paid up front before ordering, and he does not accept Paypal payments. So I will go ahead and pay for the order with my credit card and you can reimburse me through my Paypal account. Paypal charges me 2.9% + $0.30 for receiving funds, so I have added that to your total. Once the order is paid up front and placed, it will take about a week to arrive. I'll keep you up to date.

Thanks to all who participated. We saved quite a lot!

Jay

I've got the invoices and nothing shows to be back-ordered so everyone should be able to collect their orders Thursday. I'll sort them out and have them bundled per order. Have a picture I.D. in case the person waiting on you does not recognize you.
