Update on mold in house

Yes, in heavy rains the basement ends up with water in it. Not sure how or where but it does. I have looked in the basement and can't find anywhere that it is coming in but obviously not good enough because it has to be coming from somewhere.

A home inspector or other "qualified" individual can find out where its coming from in seconds just looking at it..

ANY unsealed crack/hole,etc...can cause problems.. might be as simple as a tube of caulk to fix.. or it might involve extensive digging/concrete repair,etc... poor grading/cracked foundations or slabs,etc...

and not a single penny should come out of your pocket...
Its just a rental.. move out or stay.. but it is 100% not your problem to fix.

If you want anything beneficial from this post then give us a flurry of "detailed" photos and descriptions of the areas in question.. inside and outside all clearly labeled so we don't have to guess on anything.. but I wouldn't waste your time with that either as its not your problem. Its just a rental..landlord already said he will take care of it.

If you feel like you need to spend money I'd be happy to send you my address and you can just dump some my way..
