Update on my tank before I move!

I recently accepted a job in Ohio, so I'll be leaving later this week. However, my tank won't be making the move for at least a few months. Anyway, I wanted to snap a few shots before I took off. Hopefully the tank will survive and coast through my absence until I can get it moved.

Did you try it with the second Lumenmax elite over the tank or are you just sticking with the one reflector?

lots of acans, trumpet coral, ORA birds of paradise, Tyree Ponape, Sunset Monti, ORA Red Planet, Green Digi, Green slimer, Setosa, Purple rim cap, blue tort, purple and blue digi's (mostly encrusted now that he broke the verticals), and a lot more that I missed. That's just going on memory and from the pics that I was looking at above. I know he got a Pink Lemonade in the last group buy, but I'm not sure how it's doing for him.

I'm still planning on hanging the second pendant at some point, just not sure when I'll get around to building a new light rack. The current rack isn't big enough to hold 2 of the Lumen Max Elites.

having just 1 light isn't causing any problems for your corals on the fringe? Your acan's probably like the slightly lower PAR values I'm sure.

Not yet. I've been watching it over the past few weeks and so far haven't seen any negative effects. I'm eventually going to get the second pendant hung, just not sure when I'm going to be able to get around to it.

I can always frag things in my little tank, but I'm not planning on selling colonies or breaking down the tank or anything like that. Let me know if you're interested in anything specific... most of my stuff is large enough/needs to be trimmed..

Will do. I won't make a decision about moving the tank for a few months or so though. I'm going to be staying in Kent initially with a friend, but am hoping to get my own place in Akron within a month or two.

What is the dark green coral that is growing over the live rock in the middle?

If you're talking about dead center, it's the Tyree Sunset Monti. It has a neon orange base, and bright green polyps.
