Update

Here's an update; I bought both mysis and brine shrimp and tried feeding the clown with no success. He swims up to the food and looks at it but doesn't take any of it. I can tell he's hungry and wants to eat, but he just doesn't take any food. I would understand it id he's stressed or if he's being shy, but he's looking healthy (for now) and he's the only one in the tank. I don't want to keep pumping food into the 10 gal. as I don't want to polute the tank (no skimmer - weekly 10 - 20% water change).
I'm getting a little worred that he's not eating.

how long has he been in the tank? many fish wont eat for the first few days that they are in a tank.

have you tried any flake or pellet food? I have some false percs in my nanocube that wont eat mysis or brine but they LOVE flake, pellet and their favorite... cyclopeeze.
