Can you post a pic of your 30g sump/refugium? My 90g just crashed (lost my Emperor and Achilles) and starting from scratched! I was able to save the rest of the live stock in a 30g "rescue tank", just not in time to save my two pride and joys! I 'm looking to do a 30g sump/refugium and need some ideas on how to set it up.
thanks

How did your tank crash? What happened? I am always curious when people say that and wonder if I could do anything to prevent it on my end.

Congrats! Looks great!

We have our 90g up, as well! Katrina can't keep us cajun reefers down forevah! ;)

I took the advice on removing my bio-balls! I have approx 90-100lbs of live rock, 140lbs of live sand. I removed most of them but not all, Apparantly the biological filtration couldnt handle it. By the time I could see a difference in the fish, I was too late! I was able to save my Maroon clown, sailfin tang and bicolor angle along with some various inverts, oh yeah and a pistolshrimp/YWM gobie pair! I'm braking the tank down completely and starting fresh (not FW) I'm curing all the live rock in bins w/powerheads, cleaning tank up, buying a RO/DI unit, and gonna cycle tank properly. I want to build a killer refugium for this thing also! Oh the joys of reefing! Thats ok, the second time around is better, right?
