That coris is awesome. I love how striking the colors are. My lfs had one a couple of weeks ago but it's colors weren't like that at all. They looked faded.
Not really. I was just thinking today about how well those 2 get along. Seems like every other trigger I've had in there no matter their size loved to chase and scare the coris. These 2 though seem to have the same amount of aggression and attitude. Once in a while the clown does something and then it puts its trigger up and tilts to about 45* and the coris flares up its trigger/spike and fins and circles around it a couple of times. Can't wait until the clown is the same size as the coris. Glad you guys like the fish. The coris is even better when I had it in a 100 near the window and the sun would get it....here is a pic of that back in 9/05
Here is just another shot, same date, but under the lights. I think I need those old big tube light again, the fish looked better back then! Notice that the blue spots changed?
Thanks for the comps on the coris folks! Titan, the mantis is fast! I can move the shrimp on a stick all around and it can go very quick. I move the mag float cleaner and it pounds the thing. Pretty sweet.
Geat fish Dan.....how do those little YTB Damsels get on in that tank full of big preds ? I was thinking of getting one to add to my set up (currently housing Clown Trigger(2") Bursa Trigger(3"), Maroon Clown(3") and Yellow Foxface(4")) but was a little tentative knowing how big my Triggers will get..
Thanks guys, the ytd and the solid blue one do just fine. They live at opposite ends of the tank and the big fish don't even look at them. I actually never see them eat yet they are very full looking. They are my version of a clean up crew.
