Hey guys! Just wanted to share a few pics after my rebuild. Now using 400Wt dimmed to 80%.

The ES driver is in back of the tank on the left hand side. Its stays just hidden from sight but its easy to hit feed mode.

Thanks everyone! The dimensions are 60x30x24. This tank is 95% SPS so high flow is required. The aquascape is set up island style, and I wanted consistant flow all the way around. I tried 2 Vortechs at first but had high flow in one area and low in the other. Having four Vortechs allows ultimate flow control.

Nice! I'm thinking about upgrading to a tank which will be 30" wide. I was thinking 2 MP40s would be enough as I'd go 50% LPS/50% SPS tank, guess I'll go with 4 just like you. :)

If you do 50/50 LPS and SPS two vortechs might be enough. It would also depend how you aquascaped the aquarium. I am behind you 100% on a 30" wide tank. The extra depth is awesome! When you do upgrade make sure you give extra attention to the lighting. Its hard to find the right reflector combo for a 30" wide tank. Everything out that looks good seems to be made for a 24" wide tank. Unless you are doing a retro fit canopy.

Oh, okay. Yeah, not sure on the aquascape yet.... Yeah, wide tanks are totally awesome! What kind of light fixture are you running and how high is it from the water surface?

The pendant is a Sfiligoi XR6. I am using the ACLS ballast that are 100% dimmable. The fixture is 400Wt running at 90%. The fixture is a bout 10" above the water line. The sunrise and sunset are unreal! It is really hard to get even coverage on a tank that is wider then 24". The xr6 was the most appealing hanging fixture because the reflectors are so large! Props to Tim from Aquatics Elite. He is great guy to deal with and without him I would have never been able to get this set up.

Nice! I'll defiantly have to look into it. :) Or, I might go with a canopy and retro fit it inside which will probably will give me better coverage...

Nice!!!! What's the two little white box next to the chiller?

The two white boxes next to the chiller are called ACLS ballast. They are 100% dimmable and have many cool features. Here is a example of my lighting schedule. Lights turn on at 1100. Power slowly dims up to 80% until 1200pm, then t-5s turn on. This is my sunrise phase. Lights run at 90% ( I preset max power at 80%) until 600pm. This is my mid-day phase. Lights start sunset phase at 6:00 and dim down to 0% before shutting down. There is also a lunar cycle that follows the true moon cycle. The ACLS controls the lunar cycle as well. You have to adjust the lunar cycle on the start of the new moon. The trasnfer from sunrise to sunset to dusk is seamless. The moonlights turn on and off 30 minutes before the main tank lights do. Not many people have seen Metal Halides that are truely dimmable to 0%. It is a really cool feature, especially for live stock.

Another cool feature of the ACLS ballast is the ability to follow the true seasons. Im greedy and like my corals to get summer season light year round but I have the option to program the ballast to follow the true seasonal light schedule. Once the date, time, longitutde, latitude is programmed the system will follow the seasons for the coordinates you have input. Its truely remarkable.

I really have to thank Tim from Aquatics Elite. Without his help I would have never been able to get this light/ballast combo. Anyone hesitating on pulling the trigger on Sfiligoi lighting.... Dont wait! You will not regret it. Tim is a great guy and will help with anything you need. Sfiligoi makes some very excellent lights and there build quality is second to none. I couldnt be happier with this light set up.

I have 3 MP10's at 100% and two 1 inch returns with eductors in a cadlights 50. Huge amount of flow in a nice circular pattern. SPS love it. I have noticed great polyp extension and growth.
