updated tank pics

figured since I havent updated in a while I better do it now

my camera sucks so bad, IM trying to get a digital rebel xti for xmas, so we'll see how that goes...I'll probably just buy one if I dont get it, so hopefully after the new year pics will be better

anyways....as you already know I have two displays plumbed together, so I'll start with the 20L softie tank

I changed the lighting from the spiral PC hookup to a 2x24 T5HO retro kit...the light it too blue for me, but the bulbs came used with teh retro, so Im gonna run them out then switch to a different set of colors

so here is the left side

and the right side

and the FTS

the 40B is the "main" display, it is a mixed LPS/SPS "predator" tank
here is my mini carpet anemone (S. tapetum) and a new green slimer frag in the background

here's the superman, continuing to grow at a good rate after the monti eating nudis (hence dead strip in the middle)

and the GBTA, being large and eating like a pig

and the new inhabitant, a 8" pencil thick SFE

and a FTS, Im having some algae (obviously) but for some reason it only wants to grow on that one rock in the middle (it was a dry base rock, maybe thats why????)

because of the micro bubbles I had to reroute a lot of plumbing and it got a little crazy (weird that I would have crazy plumbing)

here is the new sump setup...I knocked out the far left baffle and re-routed the water into a right to left movement

here is the plumbing behind the tanks...its labelled in orange (kidn of hard to see, sorry)

and here is the RO output in the main display, it is the top pipe in the pic

20L - pink skunk clown, yellow watchman goby, various zoos, anthelia, GSP, rics, leathers, black molly that rode the waterslide to the sump

yep it is....its under the 40 list in my last post

I figured for the good of the order we'll count my replies too...so I think we're up to 18 now

the bubbles have been greatly reduced by cutting my outputs down to 2x1/2" instead of 4 outlets
