Upgrade skimmer?

75gal

Hey guys got my new tank running great! 80 gal display now 32x24x24 with a 55 gallon sump half full. I have a rubble/refugium chamber carbon pads before the return and about 100lbs of rock in the display. I have an old euroreef rs100 and it pulls like and quarter a cup a week... seems a little on the low side as I have 3 chromis, 1 firefish, and an algae blenny. Not a ton but I think I could be doing better. Any recommendations for 10"water level x 12h x 12w"? There's that film on the surface which I assum is a result of poor skimming? Thanks
Tom

I don't have any corals yet. And the skimmer is on a 3" rack, I should have mentioned. Is that a normal amount of skim then? Cause it has never pulled faster than its current rate....

Other things to consider about the amount of skimmate you're getting.

You say it's a fairly new system, with a small bioload and no corals. Depending on how much you're feeding, I agree with fishfl - sounds about right.
