I am upgrading from my 29gal nano to a 150gal, the tank is drilled but only on the bottom and right in the middle.
This is the right side, the left has the same thing but no where else is it drilled.
I am looking for some ideas on what to do for drain and return.
For drain I am thinking of something like the Fail Safe, for a return running 2-1" up from the already drilled holes and do loc link or something. I do not believe the tank is tempered anywhere.
Another idea is to use 4x4 glass plates to cover the drilled holes on the bottom and run the returns over the top back into the tank.
What I am looking for is some ideas on options for drains and returns, is a picture of the full tankHere
Here is some of the equipment I plan on using.
Lighting: Current USA outer orbit #1079
Sump: Custom made 48x16x16 with refuge
Protein Skimmer: Reef Devil Deluxe
Pump: Pan World NH-50PX-X (maybe trading a friend with something with more power)
Your guys 2cents on any of this equipment would help too.
