Our list of corals available through the Coral Donor Program (CDP) is getting ridiculously large. I've updated the Quick Find List with more categories. Hopefully it will help you find that coral you're looking for a little easier. Remember, just because a thread hasn't been active for a while doesn't mean the coral isn't available. If you're looking for something in particular try PMing the original donor and/or a few of the older recipients here on RC. Not everyone checks the CDP forum daily like myself :lol:

Also, I've been asked this question a few times now so I've updated the Q/A and Rules stickies to address it.

I want to give a member a coral that's doing poorly or not growing in my system to see if they can do better. Can I count this as a CDP transaction?

All frags should be healthy at the time of transaction. You will not recieve points for transferring a knowingly unhealthy coral to another member to try and save it. However, the recipient may name you the original donor (awarding you 2 points) when/if the coral has recovered enough to pass on to others.


From Updated Rules...

Coral Health at Time of Transaction: All frags should be heathy at the time of transaction. Fresh fragging/cutting is ok for most species. However, corals which require proper healing time should allotted such before transactions take place. All soft corals should be firmly attached to a hardened substrate. You will not recieve points for transferring a knowingly unhealthy coral to another member to try and save it. However, the recipient may name you the original donor (awarding you 2 points) when/if the coral has recovered enough to pass on to others.
