I have never done a full blown sps tank and want to know what I am getting into.My tank is currently in its 3rd week of cycling.I started with 110 lbs of dry reef saver rock from bulk reef supply.I seeded with a cup of sand from my 72 gal and a couple of pieces of liverock from the same tank.
Equipment I have is 3 reef radiance 155 led fixtures,extreme 250 swc protein skimmer which I am upgrading the pump to a bubble blaster 5000,circulation will be 2 wp40s, as well as a mag 12 return pumpand I have 75 gal sump piped into to a 50 gal fuge.When tax money comes I will be buying a calcium reactor.The question is am I missing something?
Next question is how long should I wait to purchase sps 6 months?
