Upgrading from dx to fx

I currently shoot Nikon D7000 and before that nikon D70s. I was toying with the idea of upgrading and I'm now leaving towards a full frame body. I have to stick with nikon sue to all the flashes and lenses etc. Any recommendations on which FX body. Any hands on reviews. Thanks

Probably Nikon D600. I've never used it, but based on everything I've read, its one of the best cameras out there, if not the best. I contemplated switching over to Nikon for this body, but went with the Canon 6D, which was basically Canon's answer to this.

I have just started shooting with the D800e, very nice camera! super sharp...... nice full frame sensor beautiful images, FX glass is amazing in my opinion of course

Not sure what your budget is or if you made your purchase yet but, I'm looking at the new D810. I strongly believe this will be my next camera purchase.
Like you op, I'll be upgrading from dx to fx. I currently have 300s.
In addition to buying a new body, there will be a need for a new set of lens, unless you already own some full frame lens. I do not, so I will be looking into the 28-300mm vr.

Thanks Felix I didn't know there was an 810 coming. I wanted an 800 but heard the 600 was better faster and cheaper with less megapixel which both have more that plenty and I have a few fx lenses already. I'll look into it

D800 Great camera.....is the perfect step up from a D7000....Depending on what Glass you have DX wise you should start to look into selling the DX glass or trading it in for credit for full frame Glass. (Much more expensive) Many peoples favorite lens would be the 70-200..it runs 2300 if I remember right....
