I'm going to be upgrading my tank at work from a 29 (36" long) to a 55 (48" long) and I'm wondering if I'd be able to add a second pair of clowns. The tank currently holds a pair of onyx percs, a juvie pair of banggai, a pygmy cherub and a pink-spotted goby. The current tank has been set up in its current location for about 3 years (I think...). The banggai are the only fish that weren't in the system when I bought it, so the fish are at least 5 years old.
The percs are hosting 2 bta (a rose and a green). My 2 huge roses at home split last week, so there are 4 in that tank as well. Since I'm going to be moving livestock into the 55, I thought it might be a good time to consider adding a second pair of clowns. If it would be ok to do that, then I'd also bring over another 2 roses so I could hopefully have one pair at each end of the tank.
So--be honest with me: good or bad idea? I'd like to add a pair of skunks or another mild-mannered clown that'd be willing to host in a bta (no tomatoes or maroons, don't want to take that chance with my beloved percs). Or could you make another suggestion for an agreeable clown?
If you think the tank is too small to accomodate another pair, that's all I need to know. The current livestock are the priority and I don't want to chance problems.

have led me to decide against adding another pair. I may just make it an anemone/clown tank. I think that'd look nice to have it be full of roses and my onyx percs. Maybe could get another tank in-line with it for a pair of skunks someday.
