Well currently I have a 15L. It's served it's purpose but I want to go for a bigger tank. I was thinking about 30 to 40 gals. I really like the bowfront tanks with the back that pinches into a corner.
( > Like this. I was wondering if there are any problems with this type of tank. Is it prone to leaks or is the lighting that difficult of them. I see them all the time at the LFS and I have a empty corner in my room just begging for it. Thanks for All your help.

well i have never heard of any complaints about leaking in this type of tank. but i would assume that lighting will not fit properly unless you get a retro kit.

IMO corner tanks are great to aquascape, have a nice little island in the front middle with the nice reef wall along the back edges maybe a rock as an arch between the 2. I know All Glass makes a 54 corner I think and you can get it with a built in overflow. The only problem is the lighting can be tricky for getting alot of light over it. Most of the time halides do the best because of the wierd shape.
