Make a photobucket account, upload your pics to the album. You will see 3 links below the picture, the top one is a basic URL, the bottom link has tags on the front and back, that is the link you want to paste into a thread [IMG] tags and all. The pic will show up in the thread.

OK, so dumb question--I've got myphotobucket account, got a few pix uploaded there, but when not sure about geting it to my album. What the heck do I do when I try to get it to my album and I click the upload from link? Seems to be giving me options to pull off of my drives, not sure how to get the photobucket link there. thanks.

Looks like you got it. 1 tip, if you want to do subfolders now is the time.
If you upload the pic to the regular page and post it here then decide to transfer it to a subfolder the link will be broken and it won't show up here anymore.
