Uploading Pics

when i upload pics on my computer they save as JPEG and i cant get them onto reef central
1 because they are not the right format to post on the threads

2 because theyre to big

so i was wondering how to get them to the right format and how to get them to the right size

Hi-
This article has step by step instructions for resizing, using an image hosting site and uploading pics to RC. Holler if you need any clarification. The main thing is you want to have the image hosted on a website and then link to the picture via the IMG button (that button is above the field where you type in your comments to the thread). You can use the RC gallery as an image hosting site but there are size limits that can be... limiting By using an image hosting site (like Photobucket, Imageshack, etc.) you are free to post images that are beyond the RC size limits.
