UPS Backup

I was looking at a 850va (1000w) UPS system. Could I run 2 x 6101 and 1 x 6205 (+m/c).
Any idea of how how long the pumps would run for on this set up. If it is not good can you recommend a sizy for a UPS.
Thanks

It could run all the pumps for about 5.5 hours. I would probably just run the two 6101, this would almost double the run time to 9.5 hours. You are just trying to keep enough flow to keep things alive.

No. The safety connector is a better option in some ways because you don't have the losses with converting from DC to AC and back to DC that you would with a UPS. You can also swap batteries if needed. The UPS would run on it's own, the UPS has the advantage of being neater and more compact and possibly having a faster response time, the Safety Connector can take a fraction of a second to switch over and this can cause the multicontroller to go into foodtimer mode or lose its settings.

if it losses it settings what speed would the pumps run. At this time im trying to figure if its worth upgrading one of my 6100 streams to 6105.

Basically the pumps will come on after the foodtimer runs down and if the controller loses its program it goes to pulse mode by default.
