Was wondering if you know exact number in stock and anymore tips on type of setup that would be best for them? My friend is looking into them and thought i find out more. Should they be kept alone?
Thank you for your post. When housing the Upside-Down Jellyfish, it is recommended to place it on top of a shallow layer of fine sand under strong metal halide lighting and a gentle water current. Although this specimen gains many of its nutrients from light, occasional supplemental feeding with brine shrimp is also necessary. Since 95-98% of the Upside-Down Jellyfish’s body is made up of water, this species is extremely sensitive to changes in water conditions. Our Pet Education website has an excellent article on this specimen here.
We apologize that we are unable to provide an exact number of this species at our facility due to frequent changes in availability.
