I have had good luck with Mexican Turbo's in the past if I needed that kind of help. They seem to like the longer hair algae best I can recall.

That's good to hear cause I just picked a couple up along with a few others. Get this under control then it is back to maintenance, maintenance, maintenance.
 
My tang does a great job at removing algae from the glass. Although if I feed her twice a day she is a below average grazer. There are kiss marks all over one side of the tank and she won't touch the others.

That's funny. I'll definitely have tangs in the next tank but this tank is too small. What kind do you have?
 
I absolutely adore my tomi.. I didn't think id like her as much as I do but she's so beautiful and has a great relationship with everything in he tank.
