urchins with seahorses?

just curious if black lonspine urchins (or any urchins)can be kepted with seahorses. thanks

I don't think you are supposed to keep them together, but I have one with my 4 Erectus and haven't had any incidents. The urchin hides during the day, and comes out at night when the seahorses are sleeping/inactive. I bought the urchine before the horses.

The urchins are a potential problem. Not only can the spines be damaging but also there mouths.

Pencil urchins seem to do O.K. for others but I have never tried one myself.

thats what i thought since at night sometimes i see my snails trying to eat algea off the horses back. they react like they hate it! they easily detur any advancements but an urchin could be worst. thanks again ...looks like i am not gonna attempt it!
