please help!!! i just did my first water change and im short. Can i use any other water to fill the missing?? its only about a gallon or two. I have a 110 gal tank with ocean water.

You can mix up another 2g and use it right away -- just make sure it's thoroughly mixed and at the same temperature & pH as the display. In a 110g, you could even just top it off with FW if you absolutely had to; with that volume of water, it's not going to make that much of a difference to the SG.

We are always short too. We just add a gallon of RO/DI top off and keep an eye on SG.

With our 150 - 1 extra gallon or so of RO/DI doesn't impact salinity.

When I need to make up for salt water inbetween water changes, I have put the mix into a 1 gal water jug with ro/di. Shake it up real good for a minute or so with only half the water in, put the rest of the water in and shake for a little while longer. It has totally dissolved for me.
