Uronema? Help please!

Hello!
I bought a chromis about a week ago. He went into QT (thank goodness) and I noticed some yellow spots. I notified the place I got him from and they were supposed to get back to me on how to treat it. A couple days later it was not looking good, turned into a vertical red patch on his side and I'm pretty sure it was Uronema. I had trouble finding anything online on how to treat and he didnt make it. Since it is a protozoa, how should I clean the QT tank and everything in it?? Is there a treatment for this if I have the same problem? water params were good

Thanks in advance

Suggest you post this in the fish disease forum. That's where you will find most of the experts. Certainly looks like uronema, and chromis are particularly likely to carry it. Just empty, bleach and dry the QT tank and all associated equipment and it will be fine for reuse. I believe CP does treat uronema. Kudos for doing QT BTW :)

Cleaning advice is good, CP does not treat uronema. There are stickies in the fish disease forum; however, I suggest avoiding chromis.
