Uronema in QT - What steps?

Zalick

My reef tanks my wallet
I had a bout of uronema in my QT with three anthias back in November. Two died. The remaining anthia never developed symptoms and has always looked healthy. Its been in the QT for 5 months now. Its been 4 months since the last anthia died.

I have CP powder coming in the mail this week finally!

My questions are:
1. Should I still treat with CP? (I assume yes)
2. If I treat with CP, will that guaranteed wipe out any remaining Uronema?
3. Should I treat with CP, move fish to a new clean QT, and treat with CP again?

I don't want to risk exposing my DT to Uronema.

Thanks.

A CP treatment may still be a good idea, but the most important thing is to give the fish a formalin bath before moving them to the DT.

Thanks. So do you think it would be safe to do a formalin bath, then transfer to a fresh tank with the DT water for a few minutes to rinse it, then transfer to DT?

The water in the QT is siphoned from the DT, so the fish can go right in.
