Would you use this. Its a 46 Gal Bowfront that I picked up for $50, The tank dose have 2 small chips on the back seem. My qustion is is it to bad to use. The silicone is in great shape, I think the person I got it from had it on the side to clean.

My sump looks like that but a bit worse. It's been doing the job for two years though, so that might work out for you.

To be honest I am not sure what I am loking at. Is it a silicone seam where there is a chip or is it just the top lip of the aquarium? If top lip, I wouldn't worry about it. Anywhere else, the pic is too blurry for me to give good judgement.

+1 for not worrying about it. I discovered a way bigger chip in the front glass of my 45 cleaning the glass one day.

Here is how I fixed it, what do you think? The chips are on the back of the tank so I will be painting them.

Tank was full for two days before repair and no leaks. Now I have to let silicone dry for two days and wait on diamond hole drill and bulkhead to come in.
