Used Acrylic Sump

Also i just took two pictures of it. close up to where i think it is silicone. If so how can i get it off i tried peeling it off but shocking it is on there pretty good. I would like to go through the whole thing and redo it so i know for a face it wont leak.

That is silicone for sure. Peel it all off. I just had a leak in my sump and I ran a bead of the 16 on it and it is as good as new. You are not trying to reweld the sump back together you just want to seal up the slight imperfection in the seam when it was assembled. You could add the extra piece of acrylic if you want but I really don't think it is necessary. It's up to you.

^thanks Skeeter. Yeah i am going back and forth if i should just add some acrylic just to be safe or if the bead of 16 will do just fine.

I hope the acrylic panel are not siliconed but welded

^ no it looks like it is welded. Maybe they just did it for backup lol idk but i have to figure how to get it off because i try to peel it off and its on there pretty good on some parts. Trying to think if there is something skinny and flat i can use but wont scartch.
