Used equipment, rocks... Advice??

Hey to all!!
I am new to this forum, but I have been using Yahoo! Answers for a long time for my saltwater questions. I stumbled across this website and figured I'd give it a try. My tank has been up and running for around one month, and completely cycled last week. I added my fish, 2 false percula clown fish, a pygmy angel, and a chocolate chip starfish. I need some more rock, being that I only have 10 pounds of live rock in this 20 gallon tank. However, it will be expensive to get another 10-15 pounds at the pet store, All Pets Club, for $7 a pound. I can get base rock there for $4 a pound. Would this be appropriate?

Anyone know where I can buy a used protein skimmer, for cheap??

you don't NEED more rock. i have maybe 110 pounds of rock in my 240g system. but if you wanted to add more rock most people sell LR on here for 3-4 bucks a pound. as for the skimmer just look around here and you should be able to find what your looking for. and welcome to reef central! theres tons of great people and info here!

If your just looking for some rock to help with aqua scaping and its not needed for bio filtering then definetly get the base rock. It will become live over time.

For the skimmer - People breakdown and sell stuff constantly. You could also pick up some LR here like fishkidd said with a little patience

i think $2-3 a pound is a good deal for LR. a week ago someone was selling some if you can find it.
