used skimmer?

Anyone have a used skimmer that i could buy off them for a reasonable price and get by with for a few months until i can upgrade? I don't want to skimp but I wasn't even planning on getting a new skimmer when I planned all this out. I thought the one i had was good for up to a 150-i was wrong. now im looking at $400 skimmers....

A modded mesh wheel Octopus 200 is way under $400 (new) and should be fine for a 150. JMHO

It a seaclone rated to 90 gallons i think. i got it in a package deal, 100 bucks for everything a guy had in his garage. The cheapest i found the octopus 200 for is 380, without the mesh wheel.

You do the mesh wheel yourself, it comes standard needle wheel, but even stock it will handle 150 easy.

Anyone have a good link explaining how to do a mesh wheel mod? I've been thinking about attempting it on my skimmer.

The mesh-mod is simple, If your close to granite city and can find someone with the extra mesh I can show you how to do it.

I'd go with the latter, but I like the recirc mods better thats JMO
