Hi, I have one of the new style Tunze 6095 that comes with the controller. It stopped working today.

While I figure out what's wrong with it, I have an older 6095 that didn't come with the controller but used the power supply with the jumpers on it.

Can I use the new style power supply with the old tunze 6095?

I will be controlled with an Apex.

Yes, the only difference is the new one is always 24V- full power.

I would start by checking the propeller and cleaning the motor and propeller as separate parts with a soak in vinegar and water. The newer pumps have many more safeties and shut down in an overload, if the pump is jammed or running dry. These were the things that tended to result in motor failures so they added a sensor system to detect any slow down or extra resistance and cause a shut down.

Thanks for the advice.

One more follow-up question, I need to open the Tunze 6095 controller to route the cable back through some tight areas. Do you have the link to any instructions on how to do this?
