using a social acclimation box

I've never used one before, but this weekend I'm going to add a pair of female blue star wrasses (bipartitus ) to my 240 that already has a pair of leopard wrasses (meleagris) and I figured this would be something that makes sense.

My questions are, should I add something in the box for cover?
How about a dish with sand?

Heard from someone elsewhere that it is a good idea to provide cover and even a sand box.

I would add a small bowl or tupperware container with sand so they have a place to hide. Acclimation boxes are essential for wrasses IME; I now use one for any new addition.

Thanks.
Yeah, found a small one that will fit in it, plus a couple 1-1/2" pvc fittings for cover.

I placed the acclimation box in my display tank yesterday to see what the reaction of my other fish are to it.
Really freaked them out. Tangs barely came out for dinner last night. The anthias would only dart out and grab a bite and dash back for cover.
The other wrasses were pretty cautious, but I can see them getting use to it the fastest of all the fish, which is a good thing.

I've had a total of 5 leopard in my tank together. Now I only have two since they turned on each other after a month. The two largest were the ornate and black leopards and they have now been in the tank for over 10 moths together. So the chances are pretty good that fighting will occur.
