using aquamed with a clam?

Can I do this to hold the clam in place on the rock untill he attached his foot?

I wouldnt think so. I would get him to attach to a small flat rock. Once that is done aquamend the rock where you want the clam

When you mix Aquamend a chemical reaction occurs, this releases heat.
This could result in a chemical burn to the foot or cooking the clam inside the shell where the epoxy makes contact.

Superglue would be a safer option, but I would not do that either personally.

My clams move themselves around when they are not happy in a position. Fixing them in place removes their ability to adjust to changing tank conditions.
