Using Frozen Food

Dose anyone thaw their food in RO and leave in a jar in the fridge and use over the course of a few days. Kinda like they do at the LFS.

I am lazy and think it would be easier if it was already thawed...

I just thaw mine in tank water in a Solo Cup throw Saran wrap on it then back in the fridge until it is used up. I try to use it within 3 days.

What type of food do you use. I think I am going to give it a shot. Fishing my sumo room and I put a small fridge in there so I now will have beer and fish food down there.....:beer:

I have. Gets pretty raunchy after a week. I did this in an attempt to get the wife to feed when I work doubles. I gave up on it after awhile. 5-6 days max I would think you'd be fine.

You're fishing in your sumo room? Is that like for Koi or something? Seems that would be the appropriate fish for a sumo room.

Yea I gotta mini fridge in my sump room as well. I used to keep the frozen food upstairs in our main fridge but laziness kept me from feeding it as often as I shouldve. Now having the freezer downstairs I get to feed it much more often.

I actually started doing this not that long ago , i feed rods foods , i usually just cut a piece to last for about a week , then just rinse the lil comtainer and do it again

Not faithful to one type. I've tried a little of everything. The cubes are handy.
