Using Kalkwasser with BRS Dosing Pump

Does anything think it's possible to dose Kalk with a BRS 1.1ml dosing pump?

In a 10 gallon nano, I was using a small amount of kalk in the ATO water. Now that the weather is getting warmer and I'll have to use a fan to cool the tank, the evaporation rate will change which will affect the amount of kalk dosed. I prefer to use a dosing pump and control the amount of kalk that is dosed per week.

Cant you dilute it with RODI water until the tank is getting the same amount as before?

For a 10 gal it should work fine. On an 80 gal, not so much. I tried using the 1.1 ml pump on a timer but it just couldnt keep up with the demand from my 80 so I switched to an aqualifter pump.
With the 10gal I'm sure it wont be too much problem dialing it in.

I've been doing it for a month now and it seems to be working fine. I made a dosing container that is sealed and I make what is used in a month.

Using a doser for a small tank is a good idea from a stability standpoint. No need to worry about fluctuations in evaporation, once you have the demand rate dialed in your levels should remain rock steady.
