Just got a few Acro's and Monti's. While I was at the LFS I noticed this product. The staff said that would be all that I would need for food supplementation for SPS's. Looking for any input on this.
thanks,

I am not sure of that but I use Kent essential elements, Kent chromaplex and pickling lime. I have had fantastic growth and everything is doing very well.

What does this product claim to contain, is it a phytoplankton food?

Given Acropora/Montipora aren't known to be big plant-eaters/phyto-consumers ... I aim more for small-particle meaty foods [like I get out of my homemade fish food].

Some love suppliments, supplimental foods ... some folks have good success without. IMO, provided your water quality is kept high - experiment with foods, read about foods + find what works best for you.

I agree with Middleton Mark. SPS don't feed off from phyto. You are better of with small particle foods like DT's oyster eggs. I feed my tank a special homemade food from one of the local reef stores that has various particle size meaty foods.
