Trying to figure the reading of (true) specific gravity conversion for my PinPoint monitor.

I have a conversion chart but it stops @ 17.0mS / 1.0067 and starts again @ 31.2mS / 1.0140.
*Missing all between*
I am trying to find the mS reading equal to the hypo treatment of 11 ppt /1.008 SG.
anyone help me figure this out?

Calibration of the meter and the QT tank are at 77F.

It would be nice to have the conversions from 10.0ppt through 19.3ppt /1.0067-1.0140
Never understood why they excluded these readings from the chart.

Getting ready to start the process of hypo treatment and want to be sure I have my target value in mS readings.

I had a chart but can't put my finger on it at the moment.

I know Boomer has one, he'll be along a little later. :)

Highlandreefer,
THANK YOU! I dont know why all my searching didnt turn that up. I never went to American Marine to look though.

Awsome, thanks a million!

First, that table is way off and for some unknown reason he will not correct it. Take note of 53 mS = 35 ppt = 1.0259, that means it is set to a hydrometer reading of 72 F and not 77F and there is not such thing as a 72 F hydrometer.

I am trying to find the mS reading equal to the hypo treatment of 11 ppt /1.008 SG.

1.0083 Sg = 18.582 mS = 11ppt

So, I would go here where things are correct and where the above answer came from

The H and I have spent hours making those calculators as correct and as up to date as possible :)

WOW

Thanks for the clarification.
I sorta wondered who was off- American Marine or EVERY other thing I could find in my searches.
I noticed the tables for my AM/PinPoint meter were different in comparison. I didnt know if that was becasue they (American Marine) were more accurate or just wrong. I see now those tables are off more than a little.

Thanks for the link for the conversion, I will be saving that one to favorites and tossing the tables.

I feel a lot better about trusting these meters now too. Lets just hope I can save my fish!
