using prazipro in your reef tank

hey guys,
I have a gill fluke issue in my reef tank and I have to treat my display tank.I have been searching every where for comments about doing this.and yes I have gone through many pages of threads here and there, but all I want to read about is those that have treated thier display tanks and the results they got from it,and what types of corals are in thier tanks, negative results from treatment.I would like to start this thread so just those people can list those results here,no other chatter, just prazipro results and effects from treating display tanks.I think a consolidated list of results would be a big help to me and fellow reefers when it comes to making the decision to treat your tank with prazipro, and not have to google search and read for hours on end to make a decision.
so please only reply here with useful info on your experience with this product in your tank.

I'd call Prazi-Pro's tech dept, its made by Hikari and I think the number is on the bottle. They have good tech support and can provide a lot of info. I hope this meets your definition of as " useful info on your experience with this product in your tank".

Well I certainly can't reply, so just ignore this post.
(I know you can't treat that in a display) but lets hear from people who can.

no not really. I want feedback from those that have used the product in thier tanks.not info from someone who is trying to sell thier product to you.

Im planning on treating my 75 gallon reef tank with prazipro next week once I get my qt tank ready for my xenia and gsp, from what I have gathered from various forums those two are the only things you have to worry about.so we will see what happens.

IME the meatier the coral, the more adverse it'll effect them.

I have a mixed reef... RBTA, GSP, Mushroms, Dendros, Duncans, Favias, Monti's, Birdsnests, Torts, Milli's.

Right after dosing the RBTA and LPS looked poor. I seriously thought I might of made a mistake. After a couple days they started to perk back up.

I didn't lose anything.

It was just that first 48hrs that were the roughest in terms of their appearance.

I had a gil fluke issue last year as well in my DT. The local fish store I regularly visit recommended Prazi-Pro. That was the fist I ever heard of it, I used it, didn't lose any fish, inverts or corals and did cure the fluke issue in about a week to two weeks. Corals will recede when dosing but they recover..

It did send my skimmer through the roof. Had to do multiple water changes and ran lots of carbon to get it back to functional.

Also, from what I remember if you have feather dusters, those will not survive the Prazi medication. I didn't have any feather dusters to consider..
